HPC Systems

High-pressure coolant systems for CNC machine tools

AreaStawa supplies HPC systems that deliver filtered coolant at controlled pressure straight into the cutting zone. The range includes two HPF units: one for water-miscible coolants and one for cutting oil.

What a high-pressure coolant system is

An HPC system filters coolant and delivers it at high pressure and controlled flow to the cutting zone. Unlike standard low-pressure flooding, HPC lets you aim an energetic, clean jet exactly where chips and heat are generated, and control it from the machine program.

When standard cooling may fall short

Flooding the zone with a large volume of coolant doesn't always reach where it's actually needed. In deep drilling, difficult materials and long-chip operations, plain flooding is often too weak to break and evacuate the chip.

  • Long, tangled chips wrap around the tool or the part
  • Coolant doesn't reach the bottom of the hole or the cutting zone
  • Tool nozzles and channels clog with chips or contamination
  • The process needs frequent stops to clear chips
  • You need repeatable conditions in unattended operation

AreaStawa units

Two HPF units for different processes

HPF Flex 70 and HPF Visco 120 differ in working medium, pressure range and process type. The choice depends on your machine, coolant and operation.

HPF Flex 70

HPF Flex 70

Versatile unit for water-miscible coolants and emulsions. Range 10-70 bar, flow up to 65 l/min, 5 µm filtration, 1 to 3 high-pressure outlets, M-code control. For CNC machining that needs stable cooling and chip evacuation.

  • Pressure: 10-70 bar
  • Flow: up to 65 l/min
  • Medium: Water-miscible coolants / emulsions
  • Filtration: 5 µm
  • Control: M-codes from the machine program
  • Application: CNC machining, drilling, chip evacuation
HPF Visco 120

HPF Visco 120

Oil unit for precision turning and Swiss-type lathes. Range 30-120 bar, flow 22 l/min, medium: cutting oil, machine control and pressure-level selection. For processes needing high pressure in a limited working area.

  • Pressure: 30-120 bar
  • Flow: 22 l/min
  • Medium: Cutting oil
  • Control: Controlled from the machine
  • Application: Precision turning, Swiss-type lathes
