This policy explains how AreaStawa processes personal data and how cookies and similar technologies are used on areastawa.com.

Depending on how you use the website, we may process in particular:

  • data provided voluntarily in correspondence or contact forms, such as name, email address, phone number and message content,
  • technical data related to use of the website, such as IP address, date and time of connection, browser type, operating system and server log information,
  • data related to cookies and similar technologies, within the scope defined by the user's consent settings.

4. Purposes of processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • responding to enquiries and handling correspondence,

  • ensuring security, error diagnostics and protection against misuse,

  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – when processing is based on the controller's legitimate interests, such as ensuring website security, handling correspondence and pursuing claims,
  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – when the user has given consent, in particular for optional, analytics and marketing cookies.

Data may be shared with entities supporting the controller in providing services, in particular:

  • hosting and IT infrastructure providers,
  • email service providers and correspondence tools,
  • analytics or marketing tool providers – only after the user has given the appropriate consent.

7. Data retention period

We store data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes of processing, in particular:

  • correspondence data – for the duration of contact and up to 3 years from the last message, unless longer retention is required by law,
  • technical data and server logs – usually up to 12 months,
  • cookie data – according to the cookie category and the user's consent settings.

Data subjects have the following rights:

  • the right of access to data,
  • the right to rectification,
  • the right to erasure,
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests,
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if they consider that the processing of their data infringes data protection law.
